Federal Way High School student hit by school bus

FEDERAL WAY — A student was hit by a school bus Thursday morning in a crosswalk in front of Federal Way High School.

KOMO reports the 15-year-old girl is in critical condition.

Officials said the bus that hit the teen at 7:44 a.m. was transporting younger students to Nautilus Elementary School, about five miles away. No students on the bus were hurt.

The bus driver has been placed on administrative leave for the investigation that also includes an inspection of the brakes.
