Ever get that feeling you’re being… watched?
If you walk onto a ferry Monday afternoon, that feeling will be well-founded. But don’t worry — there’s nothing spooky about this Halloween event.
Walk-on customers of all ages are encouraged to board a Washington State Ferry in costume between 3 and 6 p.m. Oct. 31.
Ferry captains and other crew members will be watching from the wheelhouse. For each sailing, they’ll pick a favorite from the crowd, and that winner will get to visit the captain for a behind-the-scenes tour of the ferry.
Local ferry terminals are in Mukilteo (614 Front St.) and Edmonds (199 Sunset Ave. S).
