ARLINGTON — An argument over a game of cards ended with a man getting knocked out at the Buzz Inn Steakhouse in Arlington Monday evening.
One had accused the other of showing cards to another player, according to a police report filed in Snohomish County Superior Court.
Within seconds, the 51-year-old suspect allegedly took a glass mug and smashed it against the other’s face, knocking him out.
“I (expletive) up,” he reportedly told Arlington police, at least twice. His hands were bloodied and one was wrapped in cloth.
The victim, 36, was transported to the Cascade Valley Hospital with cut to his face and chest. There, he told an officer that he wasn’t sure what had happened, and that he likely had been knocked out.
The suspect was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of second-degree assault.
