EVERETT — Officials determined a fire that burned a park shelter near Silver Lake was an arson.
Park crews discovered the damage Wednesday morning at Camp Patterson at Thornton A. Sullivan Park. It started sometime overnight.
The flames caused about $20,000 in damage, Everett city spokeswoman Meghan Pembroke said. A plastic table and covered picnic area burned.
Everett police are investigating.
