MARYSVILLE — Four people and the family cat were displaced Saturday after a pickup truck slammed into their home and started a fire.
Firefighters rushed to a house in the 12300 block of 51st Avenue NE about 3:40 p.m., Marysville Fire District spokeswoman Kristen Thorstenson said.
The truck apparently hit the power box, which ignited and started a fire.
Nobody was injured, Thorstenson said. Red Cross volunteers were called to assist the family.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office estimated the damage at about $120,000.
