EVERETT — A fire in a south Everett home on Saturday morning left several people with no roof above their heads.
Firefighters were called to a single-story house in the 5900 block of Fleming Street about 11 a.m., Everett Fire Department Battalion Chief Joe Johnston said.
Local Red Cross volunteers responded to help the people displaced by the fire, Red Cross spokesman Skip DeHennis said. The fire started in a closet. Investigators on Sunday were still trying to determine what caused the fire.
