EVERETT — An electrical fire left four adults and one child homeless early Saturday, said Leslie Hynes, spokeswoman for Snohomish County Fire District 1. A fire alarm’s signal allowed the family to escape the home and call for help.
The fire was reported about 5:30 a.m., and fire crews contained it to the attic of the single-story home, Hynes said.
No one was injured, but the blaze caused about $20,000 in damage to the home, she said. The house is in the 500 block of 112th Street SW in unincorporated Snohomish County south of Everett.
