EVERETT — A small fire near some power lines temporarily cut power Monday afternoon to about 10,000 homes in the Everett area.
The fire broke out on a wooden support beam about 3:30 p.m. near Lowell Larimer Road, officials said. Power was quickly rerouted, and most homes and businesses got power back in about 10 seconds.
Crews were out late Monday afternoon working on the problem, officials said.
