EVERETT — Fire damaged a commercial building early Tuesday morning on Evergreen Way in Everett.
Reports of fire at 8417 Evergreen Way came in around 2:30 a.m., according to the Everett Fire Department. The building hosts Panda Express and Wingstop restaurants.
The fire was on the back side of the strip mall, and firefighters kept it from spreading inside, according to the fire department.
There were no injuries.
The fire’s cause and origin were under investigation, but it was believed to have started near an awning.
