MARYSVILLE — An early morning fire caused extensive damage to a home under construction in Marysville Saturday.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, said Marysville Fire District battalion chief Jeff Cole. Damage was estimated at $300,000.
The fire was reported shortly after 5:15 a.m. in the 7300 block of 51st Avenue. There were no injuries, Cole said.
A house next door also was damaged.
