LAKE STEVENS — A fire burned outside of a Lake Stevens storage center Friday, damaging two rental vans.
Brush ignited near the building in the 2400 block of 131st Ave NE. Crews arrived shortly after 4 p.m.
Flames quickly spread to two nearby rental vans, said Assistant Fire Marshal David Petersen with the Lake Stevens Fire Department.
The vans were parked about a foot away from storage units, Petersen said.
Firefighters extinguished the flames within minutes, saving renters’ possessions.
No one was injured.
Investigators were looking into the cause of the fire.
