BOTHELL — A Wednesday morning fire destroyed a double-wide mobile home and left four people homeless, Snohomish County Fire District 7 spokeswoman Autumn Waite said.
Flames were coming from the roof of the home in the 20300 block of 43rd Avenue SE when crews arrived after 4:09 a.m. Wednesday, Waite said.
One person was home when the fire began, but escaped without injury, Waite said. A family pet is missing.
Investigators determined that the fire started above the ceiling near a flue pipe used with the home’s woodstove, Waite said.
Along with displacing four people, the fire caused $50,000 in damage to the home and its contents, Waite said.
