MARYSVILLE — A fire destroyed a recreational vehicle and damaged a house near Marysville on Wednesday.
The fire started in the RV, which was parked in the 10200 block of 49th Drive NE, said Christie Veley, a spokeswoman for the Marysville Fire District. Neighbors called for help around 12:30 p.m. Flames had begun spreading toward an outbuilding and a house.
Fire crews believe someone was living inside the RV, Veley said. No one was hurt.
The nearby home had heat damage, but the owners were able to move back in. The outbuilding also had moderate damage, Veley said.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal estimated the damage at $25,000. The cause of the fires is under investigation.
