LYNNWOOD — An apartment fire north of Lynnwood injured one and displaced at least a half dozen people early Saturday, authorities say.
Reported just after 4 a.m. Saturday, the fire was in a one-story apartment building in the 15300 block of Highway 99, according to South County Fire. When crews arrived, flames were coming from an apartment near the center of the building. Firefighters had the blaze under control within 20 minutes.
The injured man was taken to the hospital. No one else was injured, according to fire officials. The fire damaged three apartments, displacing at least six people.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office was investigating the fire Saturday. The cause had not yet been determined.
