LYNNWOOD – Firefighters were working to douse a blaze that started in an abandoned house near the new Lynnwood High School.
The fire was reported at around 1:15 p.m. in the 18400 block of North Road, Snohomish County Fire District 1 spokeswoman Leslie Hynes said.
North Road was blocked just south of the new high school as crews battled the blaze.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. No injuries have been reported.
