BOTHELL – Arson is likely to blame for a pair of recent fires at two Bothell construction sites, city police and firefighters said.
The Bothell police and fire departments are asking for the public’s help to find whoever started the fires.
The fires – one Nov. 25 in the 19700 block of Bothell-Everett Highway, and the other last Tuesday in the 23300 block of Fitzgerald Road – did more than $100,000 in damage to construction equipment.
Investigators don’t know if the two fires were started by the same person.
The Bothell Police Department will increase its patrols at construction sites in the city.
Anyone with information about either fire is asked to call the Bothell Police Department’s tip line at 425-487-5551, or leave a message on the department’s Web site at www.ci.bothell.wa.us.
