Victims of the Election Day flooding in Snohomish County have been approved for more than $1.3 million in federal aid for damage.
As of Wednesday, 513 Snohomish County residents had registered for aid with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Victims with damage have until Feb. 12 to register for aid with FEMA.
Snohomish County residents reported to the county $8.8 million in flood damage to homes and personal property.
Statewide, FEMA has disbursed $4 million in aid in the 11 counties hit by the November floods and 2,134 have registered for aid.
Not all who registered qualify to receive aid, but if anyone is turned down they can appeal, FEMA spokesman Marvin Nauman said.
The U.S. Small Business Administration has approved more than $7.3 million in low-interest disaster loans to people and businesses in the state.
King County thus far has received $530,000 for its 509 flood victims.
