Flu shots available throughout area

With scattered cases of flu already being confirmed in Washington, state Health Department officials are warning that flu could hit early this year.

Here’s a list of some of the places where the shots are available. The shots also are provided by independent medical clinics and many area pharmacies.

The Everett and South County clinics will offer an expanded walk-in schedule through Oct. 31: 8 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday at both clinics. Afternoon walk-in hours in Everett will be 1-4:40 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, and in Lynnwood 1-5:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
