SEATTLE — Seattle police say a former Home Depot employee accused of threatening former co-workers and damaging an employee break room at the north Seattle store has been arrested.
Police spokesman Mark Jamieson says officers responded Tuesday to reports of a man armed with a knife. Police say the man reportedly tried to stab a woman employee but she managed to lock herself in a closet and was unhurt. Jamieson says the man then vandalized the break room.
The spokesman says the man had recently been fired from the store.
Police arrested a 44-year-old man for investigation of assault and related counts.
