The Mukilteo Schools Foundation has awarded 47 grants totaling $20,705 to pay for classroom projects in the Mukilteo School District that aim to improve student achievement. The grants, up to $500, are awarded each year using funds that the foundation has raised through donations and an annual fundraising breakfast.
Educators in 16 schools and programs received grants this year. Projects include science field trips, musical instruments, robot parts and equipment to help hatch chicks.
