EVERETT — The Snohomish County Council approved four political appointees Wednesday to serve on a committee to re-examine County Council district boundaries.
The appointees are two Democrats and two Republicans. They were chosen by the County Council from lists of five offered by the two parties.
The Democrats are Robert Chapman of Everett and Greg Pratt of Snohomish. The Republicans are Larry Stickney of Arlington and Jim Donner of Stanwood.
Collectively, they will chose a fifth member to serve as chairman.
The process follows the release of the U.S. Census every 10 years.
A state committee will review legislative and congressional districts. Schools and other local governments with internal director districts also will form committees.
