Four injured Sunday in wreck on Highway 9

LAKE STEVENS — Four people were hurt Sunday afternoon in a car crash that blocked Highway 9 for hours.

The four-car wreck happened about 3:45 p.m. on Highway 9, between Lundeen Park Way and Soper Hill Road.

Medics transported four adults to hospitals, Lake Stevens acting Battalion Chief Ray Kosiba said. He didn’t know the extent of the victims’ injuries.

All lanes of Highway 9 were closed in both directions as police investigated.
