Four ways to enjoy the warm weather in Snohomish County this weekend

Snohomish county is heating up Saturday, so soak up the sun before it’s too late.

Grab your sun hats Snohomish County—beautiful weather is coming your way Saturday. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid to high 70s and then cool back down for the rest of the week.

Here are some way to enjoy the extra vitamin D before it slips away:

Take a hike and soak up the stunning views on Heybrook Ridge Trail in Index. Or choose one of the trails that won the Herald’s Best of Snohomish County contest.

Tiptoe through the tulips before it’s too late. Frolic through acres of tulips and daffodils before the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival ends Sunday, April 30. If you want to spend your day amongst the flowers and not in a line of cars, check out these tulip traffic tips.

Crack open a cold one or enjoy a pint. Three Bull Brewing’s new taproom opened in downtown Snohomish this month. The bar has pinball, live music and more than a dozen taps of beer. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, head to one of the cideries Heard readers this year named the Best of Snohomish County.

Throw a few shrimp on the barbie and use Tulalip Resort Casino chef Ray Kanekeberg’s recipe to whip up some prawn scampi. If you want someone else to do the grilling, two upscale steakhouses chains recently expanded to Snohomish County.
