EVERETT — The fourth and final suspect in the slaying of a 15-year-old boy who was beaten and left to die on a school football field surrendered Monday.
Matthew Dominic Teague, 18, of Lynnwood showed up with his attorney at the Snohomish County Jail about 11:40 a.m. and turned himself in, Everett Police Sgt. Boyd Bryant said.
Teague and three others have been charged with first-degree murder in the death Nov. 17 of Joshua Lorbiecki, who was beaten and robbed of $12, according to investigators.
The attackers thought he had much more money, which he did — $440 — in a pocket they apparently did not search before being scared off by passersby.
Lorbiecki was found on the Evergreen Middle School football field in south Everett. He died at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle the next day.
He was a sophomore at Everett High School.
Everett brothers Emanuel Robert Wilson, 16, and Fernando Troy Wilson, 18, and their cousin, Steven Limar, 20, already have been arraigned.
Snohomish County Department of Corrections staff said Teague was calm and the booking process went smoothly.
