Cinco de Mayo fiesta
The fourth annual Cinco de Mayo Community Celebration is planned for 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Totem Middle School, 1605 Seventh St. in Marysville.
The Marysville Community Coalition and other groups offer free food, music and dancing for all ages.
Help at Olympic Beach: Edmonds Parks and Recreation is looking for people who want to spend a few hours volunteering as beach docents this summer at the Olympic Beach Visitor Station.
The station is open from noon until 5 p.m. every weekend from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The volunteer opportunity is for weekend marine biologists, or anyone who enjoys meeting and sharing ideas with beach visitors, and who wants to help preserve Edmonds’ waterfront.

Volunteers and desserts needed: Volunteers and donations of silent auction items or professionally made desserts are needed for Village Community Services’ Taste of Decadence fundraiser on May 22 at the Stillaguamish Senior Center, 18308 Smokey Point Blvd.
Volunteers are needed for decorating and setup, the silent auction, registration, dessert dash and cleanup.
