Book honors veterans
World War II veterans will be honored at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Snohomish Senior Center, 506 Fourth St. in Snohomish.
A book by Janell Wood and Christina Moore, about 47 local men and women who shared their stories about World War II, will be revealed.
The book is being donated to the Snohomish Senior Center and the Snohomish Library.

There will be a slide show about the 47 participants and entertainment.
Arlington Center needs teachers, drivers: Stillaguamish Senior Center is looking for people to teach classes, help with bingo, lead trips and drive seniors on errands.

Art show participants sought: The Future of Flight center is sponsoring an aviation design and art show.
Accepted designs will be displayed in the show from June 15 to July 31. The deadline to apply is June 7.
