Cascade wolverines
People will have a chance Thursday, June 3 to learn more about a rare and interesting animal in Western Washington: wolverines.
The U.S. Forest Services’ Keith Aubry plans to share new information about wolverines in a talk at 7 p.m. at the Adopt A Stream Foundation’s Northwest Stream Center in McCollum Park, 600 128th Street SE. In his talk, Aubry will separate facts from myth. He will also discuss where wolverines have been tracked.
The talk costs $5 for Adopt A Stream Foundation members, $7 for non-members. Register at 425-316-8592.
Whole latte reading: Adults who like coffee and reading may also enjoy the adult summer reading program at the Mukilteo Library. Participants will receive a $5 Starbucks gift card for completing the program.
Anyone 18 and older who reads three books or listens to three audiobooks between June 1 and Aug. 7 and turns in a review for each book will get a gift card. In addition, everyone who participates in the program will be entered to win a gift basket.

Military artifacts on display: The Archive Committee of the Snohomish Historical Society put together a display of memorabilia from their collection of military artifacts for Memorial Day. Items will be on display from 12:30 to 3 p.m. on Monday at 118 Ave B. in Snohomish.
The Snohomish Historical Society is open from 1 to 4 p.m. every Sunday.
