Firefighter Pat Gjerde with the Monroe Fire Department District 3 will cook this morning on “LIVE! with Regis and Kelly,” airing at 9 a.m. on KOMO, Channel 4.
Gjerde got a trip to New York to cook a dish he calls “Clams on a Lam” for the program’s Coast-to-Coast Firehouse Cook-Off, which features great firehouse cooks.
At the end of the summer, the winner will take home $10,000 and his or her recipe will be featured in Better Homes and Gardens.
Camp Killoqua booking: Camp Killoqua is available for swimming, boating, archery, the climbing wall, ropes courses, and arts and crafts. The camp also offer specialty sessions in culinary arts, horses and more.
Resident and day camp programs are available for boys and girls entering grades K-12, at a site 20 miles northwest of Everett.
