Teen star coming
Teen hearts be still. Pop star Justin Bieber will perform at 7 p.m. July 13 at Comcast Arena in Everett.
He will no doubt rush off stage to do his homework.
Justin is 16.
It’s billed as a “My World” tour, and he will be joined by Sean Kingston.
Born in Stratford, Ontario, Canada, Justin is a singer and self-taught musician who plays drums, guitar, piano and trumpet. Usher signed Justin to his first professional deal when Justin was 13.
Tickets are $31.50, $41.50 and $51.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. March 27.

Friends of the Library selling books Saturday: Walk away with a bagful of novels for a couple dollars at the Friends of the Monroe Library’s annual sale on Saturday at the library, 1070 Village Way.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors pay 50 cents for paperbacks and $1 for hardbacks, DVDs and videos. From 3 to 4 p.m., spend $2 for a bag and fill it with books.
The annual event includes hundreds of items that either have fallen from circulation at the library or were donated.
Disaster training starts soon: Community Emergency Response Team training will be offered by Arlington, Granite Falls and Lake Stevens fire departments and the Marysville Fire District.
The classes will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. beginning March 26 and the following seven Friday nights.
