Join the Overman Family Musicians at 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church, 1318 Highway 532 on Camano Island.
The Community “Messiah” Sing will include local soloists accompanied by organ, piano, trumpet and a harpsichord.
The best part could follow.
There will be a plum pudding reception after the program.
No garbage service Friday: There will be no Rubatino Refuse Removal garbage service on Friday or Jan. 1.
For both weeks, Friday customers will receive service on Saturday.

New director for glass school: Pilchuck Glass School northeast of Stanwood has a new director.
Pat Wallace replaces Arthur Jacobus, who resigned his post as executive director Dec. 11. Wallace, the school’s interim director, has served on Pilchuck’s board of trustees since 1992, including the past five years as board president.
