Join bike rodeo
Kids age 5 to 11 may participate in a bike rodeo Wednesday in Mukilteo.
It’s planned from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Mukilteo Library, 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd.
Start with a bike and helmet safety inspection. Then practice cycling skills on a bike course.

Learn about apple cider: A “Hard Cider Making and Orcharding” workshop is planned Saturday in Sultan.
It begins at 10 a.m. at Ed’s Apples, 13420 339th Ave. SE.
Hear what it takes to grow and maintain a cider orchard and get an overview of how to make cider.
Washington State University Tree Fruit Specialist Gary Moulton will lead the discussion.

Work tonight on I-5: Crews plan to close multiple northbound ramps on I-5 in Everett on Tuesday night for repaving work.
The onramp from Everett Avenue to northbound I-5 is expected to close at 10 p.m.
The offramp from northbound I-5 to E. Marine View Drive also should close at 10 p.m.
The ramp from westbound U.S. 2 to northbound I-5 will close at 11 p.m.
Drivers can follow signed detours. All ramps should be open by 5 a.m. Wednesday.
