Take a bus to the fair
Community Transit is adding late-night trips on routes serving the Evergreen State fairgrounds from Aug. 27 through Sept. 7 so folks can save the trouble and expense of driving and parking at the annual fair.
At peak times, bus service to the fair may be crowded and passengers may need to stand. Avoid crowds by traveling midday during the week or arriving early and leaving after 4 p.m. on the weekends.
Bus fares are $1.50 for adults, $1 for ages 6-18 and 50 cents for seniors and the disabled. Transfer for free between Community Transit bus routes by requesting a transfer slip from the driver when paying for your fare.
To plan your trip, go to www.communitytransit.org or call 425-355-RIDE.
