Moms for peace
The third annual Mother’s Day Gathering for Peace is 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Ferguson Park, 1330 Ferguson Park St., in Snohomish.
It is sponsored by the Snohomish County RESULTS group, which educates people on reducing global poverty and hunger.
There will be speeches, entertainment and a children’s peace project. Wear colorful clothing and bring a homemade peace sign for a parade.
And bring nonperishable items for the Snohomish Food Bank.
For more information, contact Teresa Rugg at 360-862-9034 or twrugg@verizon.net.
