Everett districts
The League of Women Voters of Snohomish County has scheduled a forum to make the case for electing Everett City Council members by geographic districts. The forum will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday in the Bob Drewel Building, Room 2, at the Snohomish County Campus, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. Panelists include Everett residents Reid Shockey, Louis Harris, Dave Ramstad, Luis Moscoso and Mary Rollins. The league’s Karen Madsen will moderate.
Ferry route changes: Washington State Ferries plans an open house Tuesday to discuss a possible six-month trial schedule for its Mukilteo-Clinton route. The open house is set for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Clinton Community Hall, 6411 S. Central Ave.
Library open house: The Stillaguamish Valley Genealogical Society Library is holding an open house from 12 to 4 p.m. Saturday. The library is at 6111 188th Place NE, Arlington. The society enlarged a conference room and added a room for the library’s collection and two new desktop computers for patrons. The open house will provide an opportunity to socialize with members and fellow genealogists. More information is at www.stillygen.org.
