Opera open house
The Marysville Opera House has scheduled twice-monthly free open houses for the public to come in, get a tour, talk to parks staff or otherwise wander around the historic building. The next open house is from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, and on the first and third Wednesdays of each month through July.

Earth Day walk: Everyone is welcome to walk through historic downtown Snohomish in honor of Earth Day. The walk is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday. Attendees are asked to meet at Angel Arms Works, 230 Ave. B. For more information, contact Karen Guzak at 360-568-1000 or Lya Badgley at 360-348-7059.
Waterfront Place open house: Come by the Port of Everett’s open house Thursday to learn about the port’s Waterfront Place project, which is turning former industrial land into apartments, shops, offices and open spaces. Visitors can meet one of the project’s housing developers, and get updates on design features, public spaces and marina events.
The open house is from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, in the Blue Heron Room of the Waterfront Center building, 1205 Craftsman Way, Everett.
