The 25th annual Festival of Trees’ community open house is planned for noon to 8 tonight at the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center at Comcast Arena, 2000 Hewitt Avenue, Suite 200 in Everett. This free holiday community event is open to all ages.
More than 20 ornately decorated trees and dozens of wreaths and other Christmas decorations will be on display. The event features holiday entertainment including local school choirs, musical ensembles, children’s activities and refreshments. Holiday arts and crafts for children are available 3 to 6 p.m.
Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus are offered from 3 to 7 p.m. The afternoon entertainment schedule includes eight community groups, including local school civic and church choirs and musical groups.

Concert Saturday: The “Emmanuel — Light of the World” Advent and Christmas benefit concert is planned for 7:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish at 2316 180th St. SE in Bothell.
There will be an evening of prayer and music to benefit HopeLink and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Please leave a donation and take along goods for the food bank.
Entertainment will be provided by Bothell United Methodist Church Handbell Choir, Choral Aires from Archbishop Murphy High School, Spirit of Light Choir from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish and NETWORK Gospel Choir.
