HEADS UP
Update on proposed Lynnwood annexation
The city of Lynnwood is considering a proposed annexation of a church, the Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle, along with three houses. The location is on 44th Ave. W., north of 212th Street SW. The total land size is about 22 acres.
The church is planning a construction project and wants to connect to Lynnwood’s sewer and utility services, said Todd Hall, a city planning manager.
A public hearing is scheduled for Aug. 14.
The council will have to determine how the area would be zoned. The council is expected to review the matter again in September before the annexation petition can go to the Boundary Review Board.
No other annexations are pending in Lynnwood.
