The Marysville Youth Football League has scheduled multiple car washes Saturday.
Proceeds from six car washes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at different locations will go toward registration scholarships, the cost of new gear and the replacement of old gear. The funds are also expected to help with insurance costs, field fees and referees.
Car washes are planned at Burger Mill, 707 State Ave.; Gold’s Gym, 1052 State Ave.; Grocery Outlet, 9620 State Ave.; Haggen, 3711 88th St. NE.; and O’Reilly Auto Parts, 404 State Ave.
The nonprofit is a league for kids ages 6 to 13 in Marysville.
Senior center barbecue: The annual Backyard BBQ Bash at East County Senior Center is planned from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the senior center, 276 Sky River Parkway, Monroe.
Grilled steak or lime shrimp stir fry will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Guests can dance to music by the 18-person Moonlight Swing Orchestra from 6 to 9 p.m.
The cost is $7 pre-pay or $9 at the door.

Summer Finale at Snohomish Library: The Summer Finale at Snohomish Library is planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday at 311 Maple Ave. in Snohomish.
The finale will feature “Wonderglobe: Toy Stories around the Whirled” with Rick Hartman. A globe magically morphs into a yo-yo. There will be puppets and prizes.
