Save water in Sultan
Sultan wants to hear from the community about ways to reduce water consumption.
Sultan will present its proposed goals to use water efficiently at 6:30 tonight at City Hall chambers, 319 Main St. Among the proposals
being considered are elimination of the current base allowance and a residential fee for water use.
The public will be able to comment after a brief presentation. The proposal is available for review at City Hall, the Sultan library, and on the city’s web site at www.ci.sultan.wa.us.
Plan a new business: People interested in launching a new business are invited to attend a workshop on entrepreneurial planning.
The workshop will start at 8 a.m. Friday at the Sultan Visitors Information Center at 320 Main St.
Cost for the workshop is $25. The cost includes a workbook on starting a new business.

Join a board: Snohomish Conservation District has one elected volunteer position open for a three-year term on the Board of Supervisors.
To be eligible, a candidate must be a registered voter and must own or occupy land within the Conservation District boundary, which includes most of Snohomish County and Camano Island.
A conservation district supervisor serves without pay and helps set policy and direction for the district.
