HEADS UP
Walk to School Day
National Walk to School Day is Oct. 4. It’s been 20 years since the first Walk to School Day was held. Is your family participating? Does your group make a point of walking every day — even when it rains? Or do you desire to walk, but find barriers along the way, like distance, lack of sidewalks — or sleepyheads?
