Opioid talks

“Community Conversations: Local perspectives on opioid addiction and recovery” is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bothell City Hall, 18415 101st Ave. NE. The event includes speakers from Snohomish County Human Services and Bothell Police, as well as local residents sharing their stories.

How to master aging

The Edmonds Senior Center offers the “Aging Mastery” program, a five-week workshop set for 12:30 to 3 p.m. Mondays, from Oct. 23 to Nov. 20. Learn how to make and maintain small but effective changes as you age. A light lunch will be provided. Registration is required.
