Youth Chorus concert

The Snohomish County Youth Chorus performs “Into the Quiet Season: Songs of Autumn and Winter,” 6 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6215 196th St. SW, Lynnwood. This is the first installment of the 2017-18 concert series on “Nature, Seasons, Time and Turnings.” Tickets are $10 (age 6 and younger free) at the door or online.

Brunch on Camano

A buffet brunch is set for 9 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Camano Island Yacht Club, 129 N Sunset Drive. Cost is $10, $5 younger than 9. Omelets are $1 extra. Bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, hash browns, blueberry pancakes or Texas toast, fresh fruit and beverages.

A free Bricks 4 Kidz “Ticket to Ride” event for families is set for 3 p.m. Friday at the Mukilteo Library, 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd. Learn the history and mechanics of favorite amusement park rides while constructing a carousel swing, Ferris wheel and more.

Holiday bus schedules

Community Transit will operate regular bus service Friday and Veterans Day (Saturday). Customer information phone lines and the RideStore at Lynnwood Transit Center will be open regular hours Friday, but will be closed Saturday.

Everett Transit customer service and administrative offices will be closed Friday. Buses will run on the regular schedule. The Para Transit scheduling office will take calls from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sound Transit Express bus service and Sounder train service will be on weekday schedules Friday. Link light rail will run on a Saturday schedule.
