State 10th District lawmakers Rep. Dave Hayes, R–Camano Island, Sen. Barbara Bailey, R-Oak Harbor, and Rep. Norma Smith, R-Clinton, will hold 90-minute town hall meetings Saturday: 8-9:30 a.m. at Whidbey Telecom, 1651 Main St., Freeland; 12-1:30 p.m. at Oak Harbor High School, 1 Wildcat Way; and 3-4:30 p.m. at Conway Middle School, 19710 Highway 534, Mount Vernon.

Sew Thoughtful project helps kids
This month’s charitable sewing project by the Snohomish County Clothing and Textile Advisors will be sewing tote bags for young children served at Safe Place, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. March 16 at the Cedar Valley Grange, 20526 52nd Ave. W, Lynnwood. Early stage memory loss group
Emotional, educational and social support is available for those who are in the early stages of memory loss. The Alzheimer’s Association provides a space to share experiences and learn about memory loss in a confidential environment.
