Stuff the Bus in Everett
Everett Public Schools Foundation’s annual Stuff the Bus for Kids school supply drive continues through Sunday . Shop and drop off donations between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at QFC (4919 Evergreen Way) or Fred Meyer (12906 Bothell-Everett Highway). Financial donations are welcome online as well on the foundation’s website, www.epsfoundation.org, where a school supply list also is posted.

Stuff the Bus in Marysville
Marysville’s Stuff the Bus school supply drive is now extended through Labor Day. Drop off school supplies at Marysville School District offices (4220 80th St. NE) or The Salvation Army (7227 44th Ave. NE). Financial donations also can be made online at bit.ly/SchoolSuppliesDonation.
A list of needed supplies and an application for receiving supplies are on the Marysville School District website.

Donate cellphones
Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County takes donations of cellphones with chargers. Even without service, cellphones can be used to access 911 emergency services. The nonprofit gives them to clients who need the phones for safety reasons. Drop off donations at the New and Again Thrift Shoppe, 3010 Grand Ave. in Everett, or at other sites in Everett, Brier, Mountlake Terrace and Stanwood that are listed at dvs-snoco.org.

Free clothes, household items
The YMCA’s Community Closet is open to the public 1:30 to 3 p.m. Thursdays at the Everett Y, 2720 Rockefeller Ave. Find free clothes, shoes, hygiene products and small household items.
Non-members will need to sign a waiver form to participate.
The weekly resource is run on donations.

Parkinson’s disease help
Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation support groups, for those with Parkinson’s or other forms of dementia and their caregivers, are in Bothell, Everett, Lynnwood and Stanwood.

A movement and dance class to help Parkinson’s patients get control of their movement again is 2 p.m. Thursdays at the Edmonds Senior Center, 220 Railroad Ave. Classes are $10 members, $12 non-members. Wheelchair and walker friendly. Supporters attend free. Drop-ins welcome.
