Luncheon for Camp Fire

Camp Fire Snohomish County holds a luncheon fundraiser, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center at the Angel Of The Winds Arena complex in downtown Everett. This year’s theme is WoHeLo (Work, Health, Love). Attendance is free; donations will be requested.

Museum volunteers needed

Do you enjoy people and history? The Lynnwood-Alderwood Manor Heritage Association seeks volunteers to work at its museum at 19903 Poplar Way. Shifts are for two hours, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Concert for Mari’s Place

José Iñiguez gives a benefit opera performance at a Mari’s Place for the Arts fall concert fundraiser, 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Northwest Music Hall at the Everett Mall. The event also includes dance and music performances by Mari’s Place participants, a raffle to win “Lion King” tickets and a $100 restaurant gift card, an art sale and more. Tickets are $25 to $40.

Reiter Foothills: The state Department of Natural Resources has scheduled a meeting Monday evening to hear from hikers, cyclists, and equestrians about designing future trails at Reiter Foothills Forest near Gold Bar.
