County’s litter crew cleans up
There was no sophomore slump for Snohomish County’s Litter Wranglers. In its second year, the cleanup crew assigned to pick up trash alongside public roadways filled more than 5,000 bags of trash. That’s at least 500 more than last year, the Public Works Department reported. The trash was removed from 550 miles of roadway, also a significant jump over 2017.
The six-person seasonal crew, which responds to public complaints about trash, is set to return for 2019.
