Don’t catch that bus!

Community Transit plans to start testing buses on Monday for its upcoming Swift Green Line.

Green Line service isn’t set to start until March 24, when buses will run every 10 minutes between the Paine Field area in Everett and the Canyon Park area in Bothell. The route will run along Airport Road, 128th Street SW and the Bothell-Everett Highway.

Among the technologies being tested are automatic passenger counters, the BusFinder app showing real-time bus information and next-bus signs that give a countdown to the next arrival.

Testing could continue throughout the week.
