Build a rain barrel

The Snohomish Conservation District is sponsoring workshops where Camano Island residents can learn to assemble rain a barrel for $25 and learn about sustainable landscaping on Saturday.

The landscaping workshop is from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the rain barrel class is from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Prepayment of $25 and registration at is required for the rain barrel class. Tools will be provided.

Participants can attend one or both of the two sessions at the Camaloch Golf Course Chalet, an A-frame at the corner of McElroy Drive and Camaloch Drive.

The free, drop-in sessions are led by trained English tutors in a friendly and supportive setting.
