What the Dickens
More than 90 vendors, dressed in Charles Dickens-era clothes, are set to sell their handcrafted wares while children from the Lake Stevens School District schools perform and sing carols Saturday at the annual Dickens Fair.
The fair, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, is planned in the Cavelero Mid High School cafeteria.
Admission to the fair is a can of food or monetary donation for the Lake Stevens Food Bank.
The Lake Stevens School District Community Education program is hosting the event.
All proceeds go to support the volunteer recognition evening in April.
Cavelero Mid High is located at 8220 24th St. SE.
Donate to toy drive: Marion Barbershop is accepting donations for a toy drive.
Drop off toys through Dec. 17 at the barbershop, 4610 Evergreen Way in Everett.

Teddy Bear Breakfast: Help support Providence Children’s Services at a Teddy Bear Breakfast from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Edward D. Hansen Conference Center at Comcast Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave. in Everett.
Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus and a Teddy Bear Store are planned from 9 a.m. to noon. Ice skating is planned from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It costs $30.
