‘Music Man’ staged
Twenty-three students from across Snohomish County will be part of the select cast and crew of The 5th Avenue Theatre’s “Rising Star Project: ‘The Music Man,’” which will be performed March 22 and 23.
Tickets for the student-run show start at $29 and are available at the theater box office, 1308 Fifth Ave., Seattle, by calling 206-625-1900 or online at www.5thavenue.org. Student tickets are half-price at the box office.
More than 100 high school students and teens from nearly 60 schools across the state are producing the musical after taking professional production classes through the theater program.
Students selected for the project are described as “the best and brightest of the region,” after auditioning and interviewing for positions.
